The beginning
In 2005, Josh Jensen founded Silverpeak Engineering. With a love of structural engineering, Silverpeak set out to share their expertise in engineering with residential home builders throughout Utah.
Going commercial
In 2006, we branched out from our residential-design beginnings and took our work to the commercial market. After acquiring Love Engineering, Silverpeak moved offices to Ogden and expanded their services to include architectural design.
Working toward a brighter future
Shortly after the move to Ogden we hit a major milestone completing our first educational building—the Summit Academy Junior High School. This work propelled us in to a long-standing focus on building schools, thus providing kids new opportunities to learn and grow.
Expanding services and solutions
Fast-forward a few years, when we added civil engineering and land surveying to round out our full menu of services. Now as a multi-disciplined firm, clients benefitted even more from integrated planning for their projects—all under one roof.
New building, new market
With tremendous success and an expanding staff, in 2010 we built our new new headquarters in Layton, Utah. With the expansion came our debut in the healthcare industry working with Doctors and developers to provide convenient locations for clinics, dental practices and medical plazas.
Experience and momentum
In 2012, we tipped the scales on our experience and expertise completing our 1000th project. We took this momentum and ran with it. With the enthusiasm of our talented staff and amazing project partners, the next three years were the most successful in company history!
