Client Goals
This single-family home in North Salt Lake, Davis County was originally constructed in 1979. The interior layout was cramped and had many structural issues. The Client wanted to update the look and feel, create more open space and lighting, and utilize the footprint of the home for more features.
Other Information
After remodeling and expanding the footprint this home now boasts five bedroom, five bathrooms, a study, and a gym. It includes 5,884 square feet of living space with incredible unobstructed views of the foothills. In addition, it also has a theater room, large deck with hot tub, and a four car garage.

Project Description
This project was a feat of both structural engineering and architectural ingenuity. The original home maximized space with smaller rooms, hallways, and bathrooms. In general, it felt stuffy. Now it is filled with light and open areas that are adorned with classic modern features to bring the style up to date but still maintain a cozy home like feeling.
