SIlverpeak is seeking a full-time CAD Drafter to work with engineers to draft, review and complete drawing plan sets.
CAD Drafter
What you will be doing
- Work with clients and engineers to draft, review, and complete drawings plan sets
- Communicate designs to client
- Periodically prepare information regarding design, structure, specifications, materials, and colors
- Coordinate with mechanical/electrical engineers engaged in producing drawings and specification documents
- Consult with clients to determine their functional and spatial requirements
- Work on site design issue resolution and coordination may also be required
What you will need to know/have
- Minimum of 2 years of residential and commercial drafting experience
- Proven ability in coordinating design documents for construction
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience in plan development
- Working knowledge of building codes and other design codes
- Proven ability to work on a team designing and preparing construction documents for projects
- Project delivery experience working directly with clients
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and comfortable interacting with clients
- Must be self-directed, motivated, and detail-oriented
Portfolio demonstrating previous design work is preferred
Compensation
Salary negotiable depending on experience
